This is the roster the year after Jordan retired the first time.
Jordan's spot was replaced by Pete Myers.
They still went 55-27

Of course you can't replace James ( or even close), but we did get deeper, younger, and certain players will get much bigger roles/opportunities.

Maybe our window is a bit higher then most expect?

Who knows......they will only go as far as Wade and Bosh take them. The other players will have to play at their career highs (Deng and McRoberts) or really surprise (Granger and Chalmers) for this team to have a first round home playoff advantage. We shall see. They definitely have a system in place that won then 40 plus before Lebron arrived and Bosh and Deng are arguable better than anybody the Heat had back then, but Wade is 5 years older.

Who is the best player on the Heat going into this season?

Wade?

Bosh?

I am sorry but Scottie Pippen in his prime is better than a broken down Wade or even a prime bosh.

Just saying...

Scottie had a monster season that year.

Pippen averaged:

22 ppg
8.7 rpg
5.7 apg
2.9 spg

I am sorry but the Heat are not going anywhere but downward as long as your hopes hang on Wade and Bosh. They will still make the playoffs but are not a contender. Hell Deng could very well end up with the best numbers by seasons end...

My boy Granger was hated so much by LeBron that that was the real reason he left. LOL.

If Granger didn't come there, LeBron would have stayed.
