This season has been an utter failure for us. With our last game upon us, only team I'd rather beat right now other than Ohio St is the fucking Corn and their arrogant (still) and delusional fans who still feel they are one of the best football programs in the nation and are somehow relevent to the CFB landscape although they haven't competed for shit since 1997.

I say we beat the bugeaters by at least 2 touchdowns.

Lol, before anyone tries correcting me, I don't count their fraud 2001 season when a mediocre CU Buffs Team BLEW them out and scored 63 points on their D before the Corn were somehow able to discrace the Rose Bowl by being allowed to play there for a NC.

This is a game that Iowa should win. But with the KF coaching staff, Iowa is already behind by 4.5 points going into the game. Iowa had the perfect schedule to run the table this season, but has tanked 4 games with year. Knowing that, I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa tanked this game to end up where I had them pegged: 7-5.

Nebraska can't pass that well. If they hand the ball off to Abdullah all day....we might be in trouble. Their WRs have been hurt this year, so that helps.

Iowa's Jekyll and Hyde offense...which will show up Friday? And which one plays for four quarters.

Iowa seems to be giving our opponents (letting them keep the trophy) back the trophy games: Iowa St, Minnesota were give aways; Wisconsin was allowed to keep the trophy. That leaves the trophy with Nebraska as the last one to win/retain.

I hope both teams play to the potential of athletes they have and the coaches let them. Best team wins and we slink back in to mediocrity.

This might be an interesting game. Both teams could come out a lay a few eggs and no one would be surprised. Both teams could come out and be dominant and no one would be surprised.

Having said that, I think Nebraska comes in to Kinnick and leaves with the trophy. The roller coaster of a season for Iowa continues. 12 games played and the only win comes against UNI - a team with a winning record that Iowa has beaten on the year. --- Crapola ---
