Only 5 first period goals this year the Lightning broke out for three goals against the Sabres. That's just what we needed.

Finally we played a game like last years team. Vasi in goal looked very good. Bishop had better play better or he'll be looking to get traded.

Lightning played a very good 1st period. They started the 2nd period well until Jack Eichel scored and then the Sabers turned it on and I thought the Bolts were average for the remaining of the game. You can't be safe on any lead in the NHL, it seemed like the bolts got the 3 goal lead and just stopped playing and didn't match the intensity of the Sabers. I thought it could of easily been a 1 goal game or a tied game if it wasn't for Vasy and personally I would start him against Minny on Saturday.
