Buckeyes in the Pros

This thread can be for anything about past Buckeyes in the big leagues. Two moves I saw yesterday were Hartline to Cleveland (good pick up for all you Browns fans) and Hawk to Cincinnati. Kind of cool to see two of the boys return to Ohio.

I really was hoping that the Eagles would give Hartline a look. Another white boy in the mix in Philly. That would have rustled the feathers of Stephen A Smith

 

Devin Smith got an invite to the draft...looking like a first rounder

 

With the amount of WR talent it might be hard but any other year for sure 1st. He deserves it was a great season he had.

Devin smith didn't sneak into the first round but I think him and Bennett will defińitely go today. On a side note, wonder how many teams have won a national championship and not had at least one player selected in the 1st round.

 

Day 2 of the draft done and Smith is a Jet while Heuerman is a Donkey, I mean bronco. Didn't expect Bennett to still be available on day 3, someone will be very happy to get him at this point in the draft.

If Geno can't make it work with the receivers he has got there now then he has got to go.

 

Can anyone find the streak of Buckeyes being drafted to the NFL? I'd find that very interesting

I should ask a MOD to change the thread title to Buckeyes in the Pros. On another note, Chimdi Chekwa, after not being resigned by the Raiders, released by New England, has now been resigned by the Raiders haha

 

I agree, not sure who the mod is for the Buckeyes forum but I'd PM @Edisto_Tiger or @bamabear82 and ask them to change it to Buckeyes in the Pros

 

From NFL.com/draft history: at least one Buckeye has been selected every year since 1938. The only exception is 1998, no Buckeyes selected in the Draft that year.
