That's what I don't get .. is that the didn't "have" to. They were competitive in the games they have played thus far. The offense has sucked, but that's due to the right side of the oline being non-existent.
This just f'n sucks that they gave up this early. Talk about a moral crusher for the rest of the team, the fans, and the City of Cleveland..

The worst game I ever went to was when the Bills played the Browns in Week 5 back in 2009.
The Browns won the game 6-3, even though Derek Anderson was 2/17 for 23 yards on the day.

Richardson was a decent pick at #3 although the tradeup was a little facepalm worthy. Either way, I kind of thought when the Browns drafted Richardson and put him behind Thomas, Mack, and then DeCastro... OH WOOPS they drafted Weeden.... oooh.. right... mmmm.
Anyway, whatever.
I predicted the Browns to go Richardson and then DeCastro (with him there) and then Austin in 2013... boy was I wrong.
Richardson/DeCastro/Austin and a free agent QB would've given them something decent to work with.
