I think you can have a great Jet Sweep game with Landry, too. The teams would have to respect it, and then you could run fake JS while Gordon and Cannon running patterns deep downfield,
Well, when you're paying your #1 WR $790k and likely $5 mil over the next 2 seasons, it's not too hard to love the Landry deal. And paid like a stud #1
He is our #2...
You'd give your left nut to have him on the Rams. The guy that has scored 2 TDs the last four years is the number 1, until his next suspension/ban.

Overpaying Landry may be possible due to available cap space, but that doesn't make it smart and certainly does not make it something I would think a Browns fan would "love".Well, when you're paying your #1 WR $790k and likely $5 mil over the next 2 seasons, it's not too hard to love the Landry deal.
Can't say it's an overpaying, either. Fact is, he's a monster in the slot, which is exactly what Tyrod needs. Given the insane amount of money the Browns have, this was a great signing.Overpaying Landry may be possible due to available cap space, but that doesn't make it smart and certainly does not make it something I would think a Browns fan would "love".
Disagree with a lot of that. He is decent, not great and will never be. You even stated he isn't even the best WR on the team, but he is like the 4th highest paid in the league (and probably 3rd after Dez is cut or reduced)? He isn't a monster anywhere, he is a volume guy. I think he is a good receiver, but I don't think he is the type of guy to make or break a team. And Taylor? Best thing for the Browns would be him being beaten out for the starting job week 1 by whomever you take #1 overall...Can't say it's an overpaying, either. A WR who struggles to get 10 yards a catch is not worth 9% of the salary cap.Albert Wilson was a more efficient WR in most every way than Jarvis Landry outside of volume- while behind Kelce and Hill- and got 3 year deal with 8 AAV with Landry's former team
Those are some of the worst takes I've seen on the NFL board, gotta be honest. I'd say the biggest overvaluation here would be your 2 cents.Disagree with a lot of that. That Wilson signing was a disaster. It's not like Wilson was an early draft pick who has yet to live up to his potential. He's a former undrafted free agent and that was for a reason. Alex Smith isn't Drew Brees, but Wilson could never even muster more than 42 catches in any season. Alex Smith threw the ball 505 times last year, and only 63 of those went Wilson's way. Why would that be the case if he's such an "efficient" WR?Albert Wilson was a more efficient WR in most every way than Jarvis Landry outside of volume- while behind Kelce and Hill- and got 3 year deal with 8 AAV with Landry's former team
