Broncos vs Giants

The Broncos are coming off the bye and facing an 0-5 Giants team that will be missing its best player in OBJ. I generally don't like playing teams on a streak because the desperation factor can be immense. But the Broncos do match up nicely with the Giants.

I don't expect this to be the week Trevor passes for 350 yards and 4 TDs, but that Giants run defense is bottom tier and there may be opportunities there for the Broncos to have a banner day running it on the ground.

Defensively it's just a matter of doing what they do. I'm not ready to pick the score but this is definitely a winnable game for the Broncos.

Giants signed Ed Eagan off their PS. Tells me that Shep is likely out also. They have signed 3 WR's this week. Two off their PS and one that has been on their team (and ours in the past) in King.

Looks like we will be playing them minus their top 3 WR's this week.

Also forgot Dwayne Harris broke his ankle. So he, Odell and Marshall all went out for the season this week.

There are those times that things like this make me nervous just because the expectation is that we shoudl blow them out now. Our defense though seems to be on a mission this year so I still think they play hard and the offense does just enough to get out of the game with a win.

Not really the style of the Broncos. Plus the weakness of the Giants is their run defense. So Broncos work to control the clock and field position in this one. My guess is the red zone struggles continue to field goals instead of touchdowns mean this game is closer than it should be just like the Raiders game.

Because this is Sunday nite primetime expect Broncos to annihilate Giants. Run game will open up play action and Denver won't need to score in red zone because they'll have multiple of tds from everywhere else on field. 35- 10 Denver.

He walked into a meeting today and then walked out upset. McAdoo said he will be suspended (Won't be surprised if he is cut, if not this year probably his last year on the Giants).

Lots of issues with the Giants right now.

The Browns are at the bottom end of a ground-up rebuild. Maybe it works out, maybe not. But they are definitely working on SOMETHING there with a deliberate sense of purpose. By definition I don't think that qualifies as a dumpster fire, just a team rebuilding that is going through some major growing pains. The Giants...the bottom has fallen out and everything they were supposed to be they're not. Definitely dumpster fire material.

And yet I still can't count them out of this game. I don't even think the Broncos blow them out. I think it'll be a 24-17 type game.

Even with the Giants being unbelievably short-handed in this game, I think if we totally mop the floor with them then McAdoo will be canned Monday. He's lost that team, and the whole defense seems pissy about the DRC suspension.
