I've always thought that second round is where there are often great values, especially at positions such as LB, RB, WR, TE, and DT. Yet it seems like the Broncos often fail with their second round picks. Have any suggestions for the Elway and his team? Or is this simply the Paul Toviessi curse?

With the pass rush taking a step back in 2017, and Ray and Barrett's future undetermined, the Broncos may look to add edge rushing talent fairly early in the draft. The guys in this article are three of my favorites at the 3-4 edge spot that any team could target day 2 to add pass rush, coverage, and athleticism to the position.

We had some issues w/ Google Hangouts when we were trying to answer this question so we had to cut it out, but we are going to get to it next week as the 'big' thing we are planning... day 2 past, options, and direction. We will give you a shout out to your question then! It might not be me (as I will be traveling to indy for the combine) but @cdumler7 will hold us to this oath lol

Unless you are All World I hope Denver starts drafting taller LBers. Carter fits that mode. I like the size Jones and Watt bring as OLBers. We have enough 6-2 -3 LBers .
