I don't have a problem with OT being shorter as long as the original rule first team to score wins. It's a win win for everybody.

Yet a few years ago they voted to extend OT games (in ezsence) by basically guaranteeing both teams a possession. Just go to the college rule but make teams go for 2 right away. Faster, safer, more exciting
