Nick Gates will be an all Big Ten tackle. No question about it. The offensive line as a whole has "breakout" potential.

Tre Bryant is number 2 on my list. He has all the makings of the next true stud RB in a long line of them here.

Lamar Jackson looks the part, but guys built like that often don't have the hips and the footwork to turn and run with WR's. (see corey cooper) He did register the best score in the NAPL for all incoming freshmen so we could just discount that theory with that information alone. Either way, there won't be a size mismatch opposite of him in Big Ten play the entire year.

JoJo Domann will be a ball hawk. I predict an interception or two and some big time plays in his first year even with limited early playing time.

On offense I hope it's Cethan Carter and Wilbon.

Defense: Stoltenberg and Newby

3 Bryant, the RB position is still as wide open as it was last year
Darlington, at WR if he gets the ball I'd hate to be a DB

These are probably going to be the best bet going by the true definition of breakout.

Both have been in the program a long time. Both have all the physical tools. One's been waiting for the light to come on and the other's been waiting for someone to throw him the damn ball.

Cethan Carter would EAT in the Patriots offense. Tom Brady would feed him all day. He's like a non murderous bigger version of Hernandez.

With the benefit of watching the season, I am going with Kevin Maurice.

Some of you had excellent picks though. Mick Stoltenberg and Carlos Davis are pretty good. Kalu and Jones are very good.

Nate Gerry is having a monster season, but I had expected that since he has started since he was a freshman.
