Sims against Nola. One can only hope that Nola is not hurting. The last time he pitched poorly he wound up on the DL. If Nola rebounds we should win tonight. More fans seem to be showing up to see the BEAST.
I predict that Hoskins will please those who come to watch him in person. After suffering through a dismal
season and crappy game management by Mack, The BEAST has given us something to get exited about.
Alfaro is hitting well in his debut, and Williams is a pleasant surprise. There is a long drive, deep, deep and
gone! Hoskins hits another bomb! GO PHILLIES!

Nola got the job done! The BEAST had two key hits and scored a couple of runs. The Phillies need to play the Braves more often!

He has struck out 9 times in his last 4 games. But I agree, at the moment his overall production is about what you would hope for.

Maybe they should get him out of the game. You don't want to put too much pressure on the young guy, you know, like with their treatment of Ruf and Asche.

Only 15,000 fans showed up for the doubleheader today. I guess the loss of revenue is ok with the attendance
being low. The Phillies made a fortune with their tv contract. Next year we will need to spend some bucks to
load up for the future.

One doubleheader I'm glad to have avoided. I think that when Herrera/Altherr return, Galvis should permanently take a spot at the bottom of the lineup. Low average and OBP, and never bunts.

He will probably bat 7th or 8th. Will be a nice lineup with Herrera 2nd and Altherr 3rd. Followed by the BEAST!
