This has been the most painful off season I have ever witnessed. Tell me something good that I may have missed. Like, we signed gorgeous female beer vendors or they put a huge sign up to block the late afternoon sun for the fans in right field...

We're probably still slightly better than the Phillies.

The optimists say that out offense can't get any worse from last years, but looking at this lineup, Freddie Freeman should lead the Majors in walks by a long shot and I don't see anyone else capable of carrying an offense.

Our pitching will win us some games, we might even start the year off strong, but in the end, if we finish 3rd in the East, this season will be a success.

We're better off without Uggla for sure. It will be interesting to see if Cunningham could eventually take BJ's spot in center. The main question is whether or not he's ready for Major League pitchers yet, but then again apparently neither is BJ. Markakis should be pretty solid in right field but left and center are going to be weak spots in the lineup with Gomes and Upton.
