Hard to fire a guy who won a division. But with the talent he had to get swept? Fire him.....give me gibby. Someone who will fire up these lazy bums.....

Brad isn't going anywhere. Get over it.

Hopefully he learns from his many mistakes.

I'd blame the FO more than Ausmus. Detroit has no bullpen to speak of, that's not Ausmus' fault.

Ausmus won't be fired.....but he sure wasn't very creative with the pen in the playoffs. He did the same failed things with the same shitty pitches. ...try something new....Sanchez should have pitched longer....Max and JV should have pitched longer and Rickey and Lobstein should have been used rather the old shit...

Then fire Jeff Jones. And jumpin Geno. And Wally and Darnell and I'll be happy.

Keep him, but threaten that if he has another season like this one, then we all get to punch his mother in the nuts!

I wanted Francona.. The time for a change was last year.. Dumbo made a mistake by opting with a rookie manager with a team having world series aspirations..

I dont think I will ever understand the dumbo talk. Its like some of you guys were born in the past ten years. You do remember how awful his predecessor was right? Regarding ausmus, hes not going anywhere.

What kills me is how everyone wanted Soria as closer and then he gets used as a set up guy and fails! I am pretty sure Ausmus knew as bad as Nathan had been he was still better than Soria. So all the critics forget that was a good move by Ausmus.

Sanchez should have gone a third inning! WTF? The guy threw bullpen sessions and I am pretty sure the bull pen coach told the pitching coach Sanchez looses velocity after 30 pitches and with a multiple run lead why risk it Sanchez had not thrown very much since returning! And why had he not thrown much....maybe because he couldn't! All the talking heads on local radio don't spend time evaluating these guys they just bitch and moan.

Ausmus is not a very big risk taker. The Tigers didn't need to take risk they needed bullpen arms. Detroit failed by no one fault. Rondon blows out his arm, Nathan had a great season two years ago but shit the bed after Detroit signed him. Joba was over worked and couldn't maintain, the Soria deal was great nobody knew he would loose it after putting on a Tigers uniform.

Everybody is looking for a scape goat. Maybe just maybe the Orioles were just better! It's not as if winning 95 games in the East is an easy accomplishment. If Detroit had the Royals pen I bet we are having Ausmus for manager of the year discussions.

If he doesn't win (at least) 7 out of the next 10--get rid of him.

This Ausmus hiring reminds me of the Michael Curry hire for the Pistons.. When they followed up having a very good coach and replacing him with a rookie coach who had no business coaching.. It went all downhill from there..

Im still wanting to fire our entire bullpen.....Ausmus can't pitch for them and they all suck!!!!!!! We don't need one or two RP at the trade deadline.....We need more like 4 or 5.

I said he needed (at least) 7 of 10 before the break.
So far he's 3-1.
Sweeping Seattle and 3 of 4 from the Twins would save his job.

If they get 3 of 4 from the Twins--they'll be sitting in the playoffs at the break.
