Its about timing. I do think he either is signed, or traded by June 2014. Danny has to move on and get assets for him if he wants too much.

The only thing I do not love about the trade is having to take those 2 contracts, especially Lin's but both will be off by the time the Cs are signing big name FAs. If you can get 2 1sts for Rondo I think you do it. He is young but had a couple injuries and by the time the Cs will be true contenders he will most likely be 31+.

This has more appeal to me than most potential Rondo trades, but I would still rather keep Rajon.

He's looking at the moment like he's recovering more quickly than I had hoped in training camp.
