Depending on what one expects as a fan (winning a title only as opposed to just being a fun and competitive team...), should we blow up the team?
I recently read an article as to what it would look like. We'd trade any assets (Dame, CJ for sure and maybe Nerk if we resign him) and take as many 1st round picks as possible. The team would play poor and we would have our own 1st round picks. But the object is that over the next 3 years we'd have probably 6-8 first round picks with at least 3 being lottery and see what shakes out. Then, before our first set of 1st round picks become RFA's, we would have tons of cap space to see if we could get a vet or two to close up the gaps. And, by then, GS will be an aging team and we'd see if we have the horses to go make a deep playoff run.
Would you do this or just continue doing the best we can?
