I wanted Seattle to stick with Rawls and didn't care for the Lacy signing - but in honesty, it really doesn't matter who is back there as long as this line can't consistently open holes. I didn't mind bringing in Walsh, cause he was low cost, high reward signing where Hausch was a high cost option who was appearing to trend down. Sometimes you roll the dice. The team spent lots of money this off-season to fix the running game - it hasn't worked - but that doesn't mean that the money spent was worth spending.

Maybe Seattle drafts Daniel Carson in the first round this year......

I don't think range is the issue with Walsh. The guy can routinely kick it through the endzone on kick offs just like every other kicker. He's got the leg power, but when it comes to FG's it's all in his head. On that 52 yarder he missed I think he was so focused on hitting the target that he sacrificed power and came up short. He's like a golfer that gets the shanks.

Did he kicked it short? Doubt it. The thing that pissed me off the most about that 52 yarder by Walsh was the fact that it was short.... by 5 yards. Nothing more irritating by a FG kicker leaving a 50-52 yard FG short.

No one has answered the question yet of who you replace him with... It's easy to complain and ask for someone to be fired but you have to have a plan in place to replace the person w/ a better situation...

Personally, ride him through the season. If he doesn't improve - take the kid from Auburn in the draft in the mid rounds.
