I am intrigued by this fight. Bisping is a tough guy. I don't think this will be an easy fight at all for GSP.

I get the sense that GSP isn't in a rush to get the fight scheduled bit when/if it happens it will be interesting.

I agree with you. Hes lost before and to a guy like Bisping. It will be a decision. GSP is not a dummy and hes willing to win by points.

GSP has great takedowns. He is a smart fighter. I think that takedowns will be a big part of his strategy. Bisping is a bigger opponent though who hits hard. I think if Bisping can keep the fight standing he'll have a better chance to win. GSP usually controls guys on the ground.

That's part of the intrigue. Can GSP show some of the talent that he used to have. I actually thought he lost his last fight to J Hendricks. He fought more carefully late in his career. He had 7 straight decision wins.

Very few guys have been able to stop his takedowns during his career though. Also, Bisping isn't known for great takedown defense. That said, no one could question Bisping's toughness plus he's finished more of his fights than GSP & he's been fighting bigger guys during his career.

Win or lose what I have always appreciated about GSP is how much respect he has shown to his opponents and his sport. I think championship titles meant more when he was in his prime then they do these days in the UFC.

Hendricks definitely won that fight. GSP won that on name alone and it was BS. Those jidgea ought to be ashamed.

Hendricks was doping. GSP said it at the time and since then Hedricks has done nothing but lose.
