Man, that is terrible news about a great person.
Hope he recovers, but it's going to affect the coaching thing, but that doesn't matter one bit really.

I have known 2 people who had throat cancer.
One beat it.
One died from it.

Yep. Hated hearing this. Man took a doormat of a program and turned it into title contender for several years. And as great of a football coach he is, he's even a better person. Class personified and did everything the right way. Hopefully he can beat this and live a even longer life.

While Beamer had throat surgery a couple years ago, I don't believe it was due to cancer. He seemed to recover fine, but of course, cancer is a completely different animal. Here's hoping that Snyder is back on the field (if he so chooses) soon.

I've always enjoyed watching Snyder's KSU teams, especially around 97-03.

His teams are just so freggin sound man. Can't help but wonder what the guy would have done at a program that can recruit itself but then... maybe he wouldn't have been able to be himself at one of those places but either way, great great coach.
