OU and Texas are bound together. There is very little reason for them to leave the Big 12. They have the easiest road to the playoffs.
If the road is so smooth, then there must be something wrong with the vehicles.

Oklahoma has been there every other year. Not sure what you’re getting at. Texas sucks, so there’s that.
Yeah, with such an easy road, the B-12 has only been there twice in four years (same as the Pac-12). The SEC has been there 5 times in 4 years, the ACC four times & the Big 10 three times. If it's not the road, it must be the vehicles.

Texas gets their sh*t together and the Big12 is in every year imo. OU/Texas has the kind of status that either or both are in if they are what both SHOULD be (Texas obviously has not been that) and anyone else who would step up and beat em both gets the benefit of the doubt cause... they would have had to have beaten both stud teams to have a case for the playoff and they would have a strong one.
True, but it was more about accumulating P5 depth. TCU's best team in the past few years was 2010 when they finished #2 and were still a G5 school. They haven't finished that high since. If they'd have had significant injuries in 2010, their lack of quality depth would have been exposed big time. They wouldn't even have gotten to play Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl had that happened. Their #1s were as good as anyones, but after that.....They are the epitome of big fish, little pond. They looked great beating up that shit conference and as soon as they stepped into the ocean, they got their shit pushed in. TCU got fucked up the first couple of years then recovered once they were able to adjust to the league and recruit P5 players. If you baby step in two teams first and they get some decent wins it doesn’t look as bad as bringing in 4 corpses to pretend you are a real conference.
Hasn't it already been viewed as such ever since Colorado, Nebraska, A&M and Mizzou left?Nobody is calling Oregon State, Rutgers, Kansas, or Illinois P5 quality teams so just because they are playing in a P5, doesn’t make them a P5 quality team. If Texas and Oklahoma leave, the Big12 will cease to be a power conference and will just be another midmajor.
Colorado, aTm, Missouri are not major names. The Big12 would be left without a blue blood and nothing that resembles a major program. You would be crazy if you think the Big10 wouldn’t take a major hit if Michigan and Ohio State left, USC left the PAC, or FSU and Clemson left the ACC.Hasn't it already been viewed as such ever since Colorado, Nebraska, A&M and Mizzou left?

Good point. Only one that had ever done much was Nebraska. Should have just listed them, huh?Lol, he said Mizzou!!! LOL
Didn't Nebraska buck the conference network idea for the Big12 before the other conferences had a conference network (I could be wrong on that)?Good point. Only one that had ever done much was Nebraska. Should have just listed them, huh?
