Big ten weekend

not that I usually give a crap about the big ten, but it would make me very happy if Ohio State were to beat Michigan, and then Penn State beat Michigan State. And then I want to see Penn State win the big ten championship game, and Ohio State make it to the playoff.

Just wanted to throw that out there. I think that is the best scenario for ND.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if Penn State gets into the Playoff... I don't think they'd win it but I like Penn State a little bit more than Ohio State... but fuck Michigan.

My position is that the scenario I gave results in a team that was not a conference champion making it to the playoff over a team that was a conference champ. That will put to rest all those people who say that ND needs to be in a conference. They will send a team that didn't even make it to a conference championship game to the playoff. So it will end the argument about the need for playing in a conference championship game, or winning a conference championship as a deciding factor. That will make it easier for ND going forward. So for that reason, I would like to see Penn State win the big ten, but not make it to the playoff.

i don't think there IS a good scenario for nd but ... the fact i live in state college and my wife is a huge penn state fan means i hope they take it all.

Kinda hope Penn State wins the whole thing... highly doubt they do but hey wouldn't be too bad.
