The last two years the Big Ten has been outscored a combined 69-0 in the College Football Playoff...
They're the best regular season conference though.
For a while the ACC was dog shit, and I blame that on Miami, they were supposed to come over from the Big East and make the ACC a powerhouse and those sacks of shit can't even make the damn conference title game (they never have), but the ACC has been extremely underrated ever since Louisville joined, Clemson/FSU are both title contenders every year and they conference always has 2 or 3 other really solid teams.Good thing Maryland left the ACC just in time....
Sure, all the alumni and fans hated the move and actively protested it.
Every other team that changed conferences had their fans blessing except MD. MD resisted it with anger.
But, the Big 10 has better football than the lowly ACC.
The fans will understand it after a few years of seeing the superior Big 10 football.
That was how it was sold to a very pissed off fan base.
And don't forget, we have a hell of a lot of good coaches in this conference. Dantonio will probably correct MSU's issues at some point and Minnesota, somehow, nabbed PJ Fleck. The Big Ten is still on it's way up. They now have 4 legit teams: Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St and Wisconsin.
Ohio St was actually the youngest team in the B1G and one of the youngest in the nation.
Penn St will be returning a lot of guys, especially their elite RB Barkley.
Wisconsin always reloads that defense and their offense is skeptical but they always have a running game.
Michigan is the biggest question mark bc they will lose a ton of seniors.
You're at least right about the B1G finally bringing in talented coaches. Not sure how Minnesota managed to get Fleck but that was a huge get.It is all about coaches.
The Big 10 had a bad bowl season, but the overall perception of the league is better thanks to finally paying for coaches. They were dirt cheap on coaching just a few years ago.
When the SEC dominated, it had Saban & Myer at the top of their game. And it had really good coaches like Richt, Miles, Spurrier, Franklin, and others as the 2nd guard. The SEC paid double the coaches salaries of other leagues.
The ACC seems to have all the hot young coaches joining the league and its paying them.
We might see an ACC renaissance of a few great years.

The problem is the B1G fans acted like they were the top conference all year and talked shit about OOC schedules when you play a shit schedule in conference except for a couple of games. The Big Ten is still on it's way up. They now have 4 legit teams: Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St and Wisconsin.

This is the same for the SEC. Just a couple tough games in conference and a bunch of bragging. The problem is the B1G fans acted like they were the top conference all year and talked shit about OOC schedules when you play a shit schedule in conference except for a couple of games.
I'm at the point until you guys show up consistently in the post season any such claims are BS.
This is what happens when you don't put your best team in your conference in the CFP for two straight years.
