I understand what Ewing was trying to do. He's a first year head coach trying to get wins for his program. He pulled out of the PK 80 because he didn't want his guys to go across the country and go 0-3. Makes sense. But scheduling the way he did in no way prepares his guys for Villanova and Xavier. Hopefully he learns from it because I really want to see him succeed there.

Not much you can do when Quentin fucking Gooden is 5/6 and 3/3 from 3. What the fuck.

We got down 39-21 and Macura/Blueitt had 1 basket.

46-27 now. Markus with 20 of the 27. Go team.

Expected to lose by about 10 but god I didn't expect every role player on X to rain and not a single guy on Marquette to help.

Nova loses Phil Booth, could be for the year. Playing with 5 and a half players now.

Big blow...

30 years ago.....Jerome Lane shattered a glass backboard.

Goodness, I remember that. I'm not a fan of getting old (er).

Coleman, the former Syracuse University star, has held the Big East's rebounding record for 28 years. In his career, which spanned from 1986 to 1990, Coleman grabbed 701 rebounds in 64 Big East Conference games.

Now, however, Seton Hall's Angel Delgado is poised to break Coleman's long-standing mark.

Delgado currently has 700 rebounds, putting him just one shy of tying Coleman's record. Delgado has played in 62 Big East games

"To have that honor for 28 years and have it still standing is amazing,'' Coleman said. "I remember when I was coming out of high school, I think Otis Thorpe at Providence might have been the rebounding leader then. So records are made to be broken. It's just a matter of time before they are broken.

"Congratulations to him (Delgado).''

Delgado wasn't even born when Coleman established the rebounding record as a senior at Syracuse.

I wonder what he's been up to.

For the love of god, he's not coaching, is he?

Marquette winning today right @mr.hockey4242

Incorrect.

Nova too damn good.

Crowd is nice and the offense started well. But if you can stop them you lose focus on offense.

Not sure Paschall has ever missed from 3 vs us. Sucks every other time I watch him.

Fight all the way back but Nova does Nova

Rain a 3, draw a ticky tac foul and then vintage Brunson.

While we miss two bunnies, foul and TO.

Love the fight in the team, but gotta be flawless vs Nova

Tough defeat @mr.hockey4242

Your boys played their asses off

Disappointing but hard to be upset.

If Markus brings even his B game we win by a few possessions. Sam Hauser is our best all around player but his inability to hunt his own shot hurt us today. He needs to realize that when he shoots it's always a positive for our team.

Brunson too big for Rowsey/Howard. Anim was able to guard Brunson great. But that's only possible when Dante and Paschall are out.

Great effort and still leaves me excited for the next couple years when our clearl weaknesses are fixed

I was surprised to find out you guys had only one more TO than us. I felt you guys were throwing the ball around, giving the ball up at halfcourt.

A good true PG to play alongside Howard would be nice.

Rowsey was awesome today though. And Anim and Cain really took it to our defense.

Yeah if we add a grad transfer PG I think we join Nova and Creighton in the top 3 of BE next year.

Even without one still have a shot if Elliot and Howard can handle it well enough.
