Well UK choked.

Arkansas and UK both played like garbage and didn't show up. The rest of the SEC put in the effort (except maybe LSU but no one expected anything from them anyways).

UK didn't choke. They showed their IQ. Kansas mixed up defenses and Kentucky guards acted like a cheerleader trying to solve a physics problem. Smart move by Self. That was a straight up lesson. Hopefully, they learn from it.

So we ended up with a split. Still the worst showing in the series for the Big 12 since it started.

They were playing in Rupp. You don't lose those kind of games at home. Even Bruce Pearl was able to beat Kansas in Knoxville when he coached UT.

In reality it doesn't hurt UK at all. It hurts teams like Tenn, Auburn, Georgia, Arkansas, etc. The SEC bubble teams.

There were a couple of teams from both conferences that flat didn't show up IMO. Some of these teams "get up" to play these games and others seem to be going through the motions only. K-State and OU didn't play with any energy. Same for Arkie and A&M...at least in the first half. Thought the two UTs both gave it a good effort as well as Ole Piss and Baylor. Didn't see any of the TCU/Aubie game.

I get it. Kansas couldn't play with UK playing man to man and Kansas is a man to man team. Kentucky shouldn't lose to a team running their 2nd and 3rd defenses. That shows you where they are as a team. Talent wise, it is tough to beat them. Make them think and rely on patience to break down a defense, UK has issues. Youth is still an issue and Kansas exposed that.

That's on OU and Texas iyam. Yall need to get your sh*t together.

Well seeding didn't do OU any favors. The last place Big 12 team playing a ranked Sec team. But the Sooner where able to whip that 'neer ass on the road. As for texas that game came down to the wire and could have gone either way.

I think TN did the same thing to K-State that they are doing to Auburn. They came out and stung them early getting up big early on. Both teams tried to make comebacks and fell short.
