Tech is 0-3 going into conference play.Texas Tech – vs. Eastern Washington, vs. Arizona State, @ Houston(2-1)
I think they lose at Duke too. This is going to be the "piss on it" year for them. I see know way they can salvage much because of the lack of depth.I think they might too. Only pause I get is that Baylor is still pretty talented in the 1st string, they just have no depth. I think they will shit the bed later in the season for sure because of this.
Nit-pikin' a bit, but BYU is not considered a P5 team. ND is.
btw...Iowa St, has dropped 2 of its last 3 to Northern Iowa.
Counting NIU, Iowa St is 2-3 vs 1-AA's in the last 5 years.
The other 2 contests they whipped Western Illinois but got
waxed by North Dakota State
Guess you don't think WVU has a chance in hell at beating Va. Tech then, I take it?
There is a large difference on paper between VPI and Okie Jr. Surely you realize this yes??

Do you realize the spreads are practically even when comparing the Va. Tech/WVU game and Oklahoma State/Pitt game?
An they're early spreads, that's all. To think they are the same on paper is a bit rediculous. That's why I responded to that. To each they're own though.
Never said they were all the same on paper. They do have similar spreads though. You laughed it off thinking it was ridiculous that Pitt could win, when your team is just as "heavy" as an underdog, which is why I asked what I asked.
I still laugh at it and think it's rediculous that Pitt could win. Just my opinion.
You asking the question that since I give Pitt no shot I should give WVU no shot is absolutely indirectly saying VPI and Okie St are the same on paper, because of the spread.
Or those spreads indicate that Okie State is better than Va. Tech and Pitt is better than WVU, plus Pitt is at home.
Very well could, or since pitt is at home and plays a team that has to travel halfway across the country for a noon game the time and place is playing a factor.
Agreed, time and place is a factor. That's part of my reasoning for picking Pitt. If this game were neutral or at Okie St, I wouldn't be picking them.
I can't see Pitt even coming close to covering the spread because they had to replace so much from a team that went 8-5. Meanwhile Okie st rolls in almost all pieces in place from a team that won 10 games last year.
Both WVU and VPI have to replace a lot. Comparing both these games is a bit rediculous. Which is why I believe WVU has a shot yet Pitt has none.
Tech is 0-3 going into conference play.
