Your ACC bias is showing. Tuck that shit in.

I don't give a shit how good/bad the ACC does.

I think you missed his point

Duke is likely not beating Baylor......Or Pitt beating OSU

It could happen, but it's not likely IMO.

What I think you missed on was Kansas.....I think Ohio gives them a game if not outright winning. Vandy could also upset KSU

Duke and Virginia Tech are toss up games and Pitt would be an upset. You picked them all to the ACC schools. Not terrible, but it's worth questioning.

He claimed me of being biased towards the ACC for some reason. I honestly don't care how any conference performs OOC. I don't know what to expect of Baylor, they only return 8 starters and the coaching staff is completely different. Baylor will probably be a slight favorite, so it would be a bit of an upset. Oklahoma State is currently a 4.5 point favorite at Pitt, again a slight upset. I too think Kansas/Ohio will be a good game.

If they're all toss up games and I happened to pick the ACC, you're going to say I'm biased? lol. Va. Tech is a 4 point favorite, Pitt is a 4.5 point underdog from the lines I've seen. Can't find one on Duke/Baylor. I also picked Pitt and Duke since the game is at home, just some reasoning for my picking.

Big 12 OOC Schedules:

Baylor – vs. Liberty, vs. UTSA, @ Duke(2-1)
Iowa St – vs. Northern Iowa, vs. Iowa, @ Akron(2-1)
Kansas – vs. SE Missouri State, vs. Central Michigan, @ Ohio(3-0)
Kansas State – vs. Central Arkansas, vs. Charlotte, @ Vanderbilt(2-1)
Oklahoma – vs. UTEP, @ Ohio State, vs. Tulane(2-1)

West Virginia – vs. Virginia Tech(Landover), vs. East Carolina, vs. Delaware State(3-0)

No of Games vs. P5 Competition/ND/BYU: 10

Projected Record vs. P5 comeptition/ND/BYU: 7-3
Projected Overall Record: 25-5 (losses in BOLD)

FIFY with my predictions. Our OOC power 5 schedule and overall OOC schedule sets up pretty well. USC and Ohio St are our only truly tough games. Lots of our members schedule like cowards although it's improving a little bit.

Other games to watch I didn't predict a loss. They could all end up un losses but I'm not ready to call them that.

Outside of last year, the Big 12 has mostly won it's pre-bowl OOC games at a pretty high clip and we've got a lot of good QB's returning this year which in the past meant good seasons.

Baylor vs UTSA
Baylor @ Duke
Iowa St vs Northern Iowa
Iowa St vs Iowa
Kansas @ Ohio
Oklahoma St @ Pittsburgh
TCU @ Arkansas
Texas vs Maryland
Texas Tech vs Eastern Washington
Texas Tech vs Arizona St
West Virginia vs Virginia Tech
West Virginia vs East Carolina

I don't see how you call Oklahoma St @ Pitt a toss up game. Pitt lost a ton of talent, Oklahoma St returns a ton of talent. Oklahoma St won last year, before they were even playing well. They lost to Central Michigan (kind of) the week before. Oklahoma St is a trendy Big 12 winner pick and playoff dark horse. I've heard no hype for Pitt. This would be like me picking Kansas St or Texas to knock off Clemson or Florida St. It's silly. But whatever, you always have a chance to be correct.

I would agree, outside of Kansas(which you can't blame them) every team has challenges on their schedule. I'm really intrigued with the Iowa/Iowa State game this year. Iowa will have an inexperienced QB and Iowa State returns all their skill weapons, plus will have another year in the system. Also wouldn't surprise me to see OU beat Ohio State, but I went with Ohio State since they're at home. Texas Tech vs. ASU could be the first one to 55 wins. That game last year was ridiculous.

WVU vs. VT, Texas vs. USC and OU vs. Ohio State are the 3 must watch games for me.

The spread is only 4.5. And they really only lose Connor at RB, but Qadree Ollison steps in who rushed for over 1,100 yards in 2015 as a freshman when Connor missed the season. I would consider Pitt to be a top 35 team heading into next season. It would be a slight upset IMO. Plus I think Narduzzi is a heck of a coach. My guess is it's a high scoring game. Something like 42-38 in that neighborhood.

You aren't going to find betting lines for minor football games that aren't happening the 1st week. If you want to call on the power of vegas though there is this...

Virginia Tech is the only ACC team you picked to win with better odds to win the national championship than their Big 12 opponent.

NCAAF Futures - College Football Future Sportsbook Odds at covers.com

Oklahoma St +4,000
Pittsburgh +30,000

Baylor +25,000
Duke +25,000

Virginia Tech +4,000
West Virginia +6,600

I see two toss up games and a huge upset predicted on your part. That was all I was saying. It's pretty biased to predict 2 toss up games and a huge upset in the ACC's favor.

I also tend to predict my future results based on the Phil Steele experience chart and the prior years performance. If you had a good team the year prior and return everybody, it's a good sign the season is gonna be good. If you return nothing, you can expect a drop off. It's pretty damn accurate, really only schools like Bama that recruit lights out break my system.

Since joining the Big 12, Iowa St is 5-5 vs Iowa at home and 5-6 on the road. Iowa has been way better than Iowa St but is only 11-10 against them. It's one of the most underrated rivalry games out there to me. And it sucks ass trying to predict it. I just went Iowa St because every time they have a team with even a pulse it seems like they beat Iowa. I think they have a pulse this year.

Iowa is only a 2 point favorite at this moment. So practically a toss up game. And I agree, this is a great underrated rivalry. Iowa State will definitely be able to take advantage of Iowa losing King with Lazard. Park was pretty good down the stretch last year, if he improves upon that, ISU will be dangerous.

I don't even try to analyze it that much. Iowa St has no business beating Iowa 90 percent of the time they pull it off. I don't see why year after year Iowa has a hard time getting their players motivated to play Iowa St. Not throwing stones, a certain school I support has had the same problem, but that doesn't make it okay for Ferentz. I mean, I don't think Ferentz wants to be on the level of UT under Strong. Unable to focus week to week.

My guess is that the game means more to ISU than it does to Iowa. I can't think of anything else as to why Iowa has struggled with them the way they have. There's been multiple years in the last decade where ISU has to an FCS team and beaten Iowa the same season...makes no sense.

UTSA is beating Baylor

I think they might too. Only pause I get is that Baylor is still pretty talented in the 1st string, they just have no depth. I think they will shit the bed later in the season for sure because of this.
