i do not like it. it happens every year though so i do not know why they are angry about it now. afternoon hockey just does not have the same energy to it. well maybe it does although as a fan it does not seem right. not to mention they would get better ratings at night.

i did not read the entire article although i am guessing that nbc made the nhl do this. why is it that bettman will not put hockey on espn and will put it on nbc? nbc picked the winter classic. i think the league wanted the bruins and caps although nbc said the flyers get better ratings so i heard they actually made the flyers play. now they are picking the times? i would tell nbc, all games will be prime time, if you do not like it then vs would be happy to show those games.

i think they should try to get hockey on abc. it would have the same type of coverage as nbc although the good thing is that espn will talk about it more and show highlights. why do you think they talk about dancing with the stars so much? because the same company owns abc and espn.

I don't mind afternoon hockey in the first few rounds if it means a full day of hockey instead of lots of overlap. If it's the only game of the day, it's just stupid.

I need to check the starting time of the Memorial Cup final (usually played on Sunday afternoon). I'm not going to be pleased if a NHL playoff game and the Mem Cup final are on at the same time.
