He's a moron. That's why it didn't surprise me.
Ignorant people (like Kiffin) have an impression of the South as a mean place, but the professional culture here is actually one of being generally polite and respectful of others (hence the hospitality, the use of "sir" etc.). He obviously isn't a fit. He's basically a trash-talking thug punk who can't back it up (like the guy who got beatdown by EpicBeardMan), so he should do fine in L.A.
