The homer in me says the Rams, 1st in the NFL in scoring, 1st in point differential by 30 points over the next team, and 1st in 3rd down conversion. Also sport the best kicker, punter, and returnman in this league.

To me, it's between the Rams and Eagles. Rams seem like they can't be stopped on offense and can stop everyone on defense right now. Eagles offense is looking pretty stellar right now. Can't remember the last time the Eagles has a top 5 offense and top 10 defense. All signs are pointing to them being in the Super Bowl, barring any unfortunate injuries.

my homer vote is for the pats, but ONLY because the difference at QB. eagles have better D, better line, etc.

I voted Saints, but them Eagles are purdy damn good. Looking forward to the NFC playoffs if things keep trending the way they are now.

Hate to say it but it's been the Eagles for a month. But it's also time I start giving more respect to the Rams, Saints and Vikes. They appear to be more legit than I had originally thought.

Quality wins for Saints: Panthers
Quality wins for Eagles: Panthers
Quality wins for Rams: Jaguars
Quality wins for Vikings: Saints

Other than those wins, neither the Saints, Eagles, Rams or Vikings have really beaten anyone of value to be honest. Granted, something changed in the Saints after starting 0-2. Don't know what it is but something is different about them. This next month for the Rams is CRUCIAL. @Vikings, vs. Saints, they get a break with the Cardinals but then they host the Eagles. The NFC will be jumbled all around the next 4 weeks.

Saints defense is up to 8th in the league in yards allowed per game and 5th in points allowed per game. This is after allowing 470 & 555 yards in their first 2 games.

But they are only allowing 18 PPG. They can give up 600 yards a game but if the opposing offense can't score, what's the point of all those yards?

Well they have barely been allowing lots of yards since those first 2 games. Just all around been a good defensive team.

Allowing 255 yards per game & 14.3 PPG over the 7 game win streak.

Currently the top defense in the league allows 274 yards per game and 14.9 PPG

So in other words the Saints defense been the best in football since week 3

Sad part is this is true of every team in nfl They all have very few quality wins
