Lol, I haven't bet on a championship since the 83 Stanley Cup. All my drinking buddies were all in on Gretzky and the Oilers and I bet them $20 each that the Islanders had 1 more in them and would sweep. Only 2 of the 6 of them paid up, the dirty bastards.
Nowadays, if I were to bet anything, shit would just go sideways. Brady would have fumbled on the game tying drive or something.
