For Christ's sake, last year blows away any SB ever played. If the Steelers had come back on Dallas down 28-3 in '76 there would be no discussion.

XLII: NYG over NE (1st time)

Not even close for me personally. You had one of the most dominate teams, with the greatest QB ever, on the verge of going undefeated...lose it thanks to a miraculous play that no one will ever forget.

Unreal

The top 2 for me are easily: Giants over Pats (1st time) and Steelers over Cardinals. 3 of the best Super Bowl plays ever happened in those 2 games.

Not sure why people are voting for the last super bowl. When the team everyone hates comes back to win its not a good outcome.

Id also love it as a Pats fan, but no SB that was a complete snoozefest for 3 quarters should be listed as the best

It actually sucked the entire game . There was never a 3 minute stretch in the game where both teams were playing well at the same time

True and the 1 the year before Rams vs Titans was great. Tenn receiver got stopped on the 1 yard line and time exp and Rams won by 7 first real good SB in years, rest before were blowouts

Id imagine if I was a Pats fan that would be the one I'd pick, too.

Big play by Ty Law then you slowly started to see some of the Rams wheels go but not really. Then the big play that got overturned and then the Pats get the ball back and even the announcer is telling them to wait for OT. Its the definition of a classic. You had people saying that was the worst team to win a super bowl for a good year or two after it happened and now we're like 'oh yeah, Brady and Belichick'

The Saints/Colts Super Bowl was better than at least two of the ones listed. Brees vs Peyton. Rare #1 Seed vs #1 Seed IIRC and you had that onside kick and a pick 6 for the win.

Great poll!! Yes it will be subjective bc if your favorite team is in it then you'll pick that one.

I can certainly see why many would pick giants/pats first time.

For me, While the Malcolm butler play and the comeback last year are enticing I picked pats/rams. Why? Lots of reasons. First, I was there. Second, it was the 9/11 year and that halftime show remains the best with U2 and all that was going on in the country. Third, pats were huge dogs and the rams took the game too lightly. I remember being in Biloxi MS (90 miles outside NO) watching the local news the day before the game. The reporter covering the rams reported that the rams cut their last practice short and only practiced goal line offense and defense while the reporter covering the pats reported that the pats had a full workout in pads. I turned to my buddy and said "rams are here for a coronation and the pats here to play. We're winning this fucking game!" (I also predicted the pats loss against the giants while watching them warm up before the game. Pats were shaking hands. Giants we're going thru their drills).

Pats played the rams like they had a tiger by the tail. Always just barely in control but you knew the rams were dangerous. When the rams tied it all the rams fans around me in the stands breathed a sigh of relief. They felt confident they would now win. They didn't even get nervous till Troy Broen caught that pass to get across midfield. They were stunned. My buddy and I had watched vinateri in warm ups drill ever kick he tried. He even made the ones beyond 50 yards. I turned to my buddy and said "he's gonna hit this!" He did. First SB win ever. Erased the loss to GB years earlier in the same building and the debacle against the bears decades earlier.

Walked down Bourbon street like kings! Haha. It was great. I'll never forget if.
