Who are the 5 best 5-Man rotations in the majors? 4-man? 3-man? Top 2?
If we are looking at performance so far this year, the best 5-man is a no-brainer. The Cubs starters have just been amazing. Arrieta has become human of late, but he still has a sub-3.00 ERA and a 1.065 WHIP with over a K per inning. Hendricks is stating his case for CY. Lackey has the highest ERA by almost 3/4 of a run at 3.70.
Who got behind the Cubs? How about cherry picking the rotations a bit further and just looking at the top 2, 3 or 4?
Cleveland has a nice collection of 4 or 5 guys. Washington has 3 or 4 as well. San Fran has a scary 3, and theoretically a nice 4, but Sammy has really struggled the last couple months.
I don't think anyone can compete with LA's 16-man rotation...
