Truecar puts a T6 AWD model just under 50K, but that isn't with any other options.

This thread has reignited an argument me and the wife have often. I would rather buy a luxury car, she would rather get something like an explorer and add in all the features. We argue about it a lot, but I can tell you how it will go, I will be buying an explorer with all the crap added.

You can buy any of these for under $50k is you're not stupid with options or a bad haggler.

Which one do you buy? Go...

1.Genesis G80
2.Lincoln Continental 2018
3.Audi A6
4.Volvo S90
5.Mercedes Benz C-Class
6.Lexus IS

The A6 for me....I like driving cars more than riding cars if that makes sense and the A6 offers the best blend of power, handling and luxury imo...I say that without much experience with Lincoln, but my dad drove Lincolns and I'm guessing they haven't totally changed.

The Genesis G80 my golf buddy has one...it's a more luxurious car than the A6, but the rear passengers enjoy more of it than the driver it seems...at least as much.

The C Class is living on the brand...the Lexus is a better car.

I'd say the Genesis, except that brand's cars are good for max 50,000 miles... then everything breaks.

If you are that close to the line, you cannot afford it.

The fully loaded Explorer or a stock Lexus GX cost is same. It is not a disagreement on price, it is I would prefer the luxury feel of a higher quality car, and the wife would prefer the bells and whistles.

If you're not spending $100K on a car, just get the Honda Nissan that someone mentioned and the $40K extra (and extra $1-5K per year you save in repairs/maintenance) can easily cover you for a lifetime of roofies/alcohol for chicks who wont care wtf you're driving when you get enough in them. Go for the normal roofies though. Some guy pushed me these plus sized ones, since bitches are getting so overweight these days and she was knocked out for 39 hours. Had to administer CPR twice and use a PTO day at work :(

No.
Just No.

No fat chicks and no boring cars.

Just no, fuck that shit.

And...I prefer to turn women on, not drug them and r*pe them.

I will only be driving it when we are both in the car, usually I will have my truck. Since she would be the primary driver it makes sense she gets her way on it.

Try the Grand Cherokee Summit.
You may both leave impressed.

For me, I preferred the Explorer Sport, the wife wanted the GC.

She got her GC.

I got an SHO Taurus.

I thought you were insinuating that you could either afford the standard car or the bells and whistles of the Explorer. If someone is so close that they can only afford one or the other, they are buying too much.

I will have to take a look at it. I have been hit and miss with Fords. Loved the Fusion, do not care for the escape.

You could buy these 2:

Happy wife, happy life.

Thank fuck my wife likes to drive and hates trucks, SUVs and little girlie cars. The kind of lady who wouldn't be caught dead in a Kia Soul or Honda Cube as well.

Currently has her eye on a 10-14 AUdi A4 All Road.
