Because I don't like the Chicago Cubs and the Rose Bowl didn't decide a championship, I would have voted for the Alabama/Clemson 2017 Championship Game. I voted for the Cubs/Indians game 7 because it was a great game and it decided the World Series.

2006 Rose was the BCS national championship game that year. So it did decide a championship. I'm not sure either of these were the best game ever tho. If I had to pick which was better I'd say the Rose cause college football > baseball

Do we have the years mixed up. I went to the Rose Bowl Jan 2006 and it was between USC and Texas. Texas won , Vince was amazing and I still loved the experience. USC went in as #1 and Texas was #2. They flipped spots after the game.
The USC NOtre Dame game that season was right up there too.

2008 #2 Texas Tech @ #5 Oklahoma

Sent the Big XII into a 3 way tie.
Oklahoma got the nod over Texas because, you know, nobody likes them.
Went on to the NC game and kept Texas out of it, which was excellent.
Texas went into their Death Spiral because of it and have never recovered.

I think it was 1978, was playing Monopoly with my cousin who was a year older and smaller than me but had his bluff in.

I was kicking his ass and when he landed on Park Place which essentially bankrupted him, he swept all the pieces off the board and said "I QUIT!". To which I replied, "You can quit after you pay me the rent for landing on Park Place". He then went into the kitchen and grabbed a fork and threatened me with it. I then went into the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife we had and swung at him with it. He then threw down the fork and said "PUT UP YOUR DUKES!". I then commenced to giving him the ass-whipping that had been coming for years...almost twisted his little mouthy head off.
