A Robinson looks terrible so far. He wont be a starter this year playing like that. Someone better start telling Tyrunn that it is Monday on Sundays. Gonna need him to be the guy.

Not bad at all in comparison to the backup QBs.

Not much positive from last night's game. Linebackers played ok, maybe. The run game is putrid, in large part because the line is putrid, but also because our runners aren't great. Riddick needs to stick to running routes. Both lines got blown off the ball consistently all night. Stafford goes through no progressions out there. He locks on to the primary receiver, stares him down for a while, and throws. He's not used to having 3 pro-grade receivers out there at once, all capable of making things happen. He needs to work on surveying the field.

A'shawn played better against the 2s and 3s. He got destroyed against the 1s. O-line is still not showing signs of working together. They cant pick up a blitz or open a hole. D Washington may be the second best RB on the team. WRs looked good. Rudock still better than Dan O. Too many penalties. Whitehead looks good. The rest of the LBs not great.

A couple last things. Doing some interesting things with the TE. Screens and breakoff routes into the flat. Having Cole Wick try to block Carlos Dunlap was not a good idea. Kid has lots of potential, but has no business trying to block an all world DE.

Up tempo / no huddle offense could be the saving grace this season. Defenses are going to be worn out and that could allow the Lions to win a few more games then they normally would. Otherwise this is looking like a team that will struggle to finish 500 again. They just look sloppy. Hopefully it turns around quick enough to save the season. If we start off in an early hole we are toast.
