I have a feeling we win this game, can't say why or how and i know it works against all logic....just seems like one of those weird games Iowa pulls off.

Iowa 38
WI 24

Wisconsin has a pretty solid defense. Better than Iowa's.

Wisconsin can't pass that well...Iowa can, but that isn't saying much.

But Wisconsin's running game is far and away better than Iowa's. And probably will run all over Iowa tomorrow. Iowa's got no one on defense that will be able to catch Gordon in the open field. Clement is nearly as good as Gordon is.

Iowa has to play the perfect game: Offense, Defense, Special Teams, and Coaching. I'm not seeing that happening.

If Wisconsin has a ratio of 4 runs:1 pass the game is over!!

Wisconsin - 49
Iowa - 10

I was thinking that Wisconsin would use Gordon in their passing attack out of the backfield today. That is a huge advantage for Wisconsin today.

Late 2nd quarter...incomplete pass stopping the clock at :42 seconds...and Iowa can't get a played called in time and has to burn a timeout. Excellent coaching sequence right there.

I can't beleive we'd score 24 points. We are absolutely punchless on offense.

really thought I saw quite a few holds that went uncalled today, I am not one to say much about the refereeing since I have done it and it is hard, but at least 5 blatant holds were not called...have not seen Wisconsin play much but that might explain Gordon's stellar year, at least 50 of his yards should have been called back to me. Not saying that is why we lost by any means, but really hard to see how those calls couldn't have been made...sure it sounds like sour grapes though, just how I saw it. I was not on the field though, so take that for what it is worth. It's not easy to ref football.

SEC refs are still by far the worst from the games I have watched this year. They must get the rule book the day of game and go with what they have seen on tv.

Just think if we would have showed a pulse in the first half. Once again we lose a game because we play like shit trying to implement a shitty gameplan.

that part is true as well, we seem to do better in this pseudo up-tempo game, it's not a pure speed game, but going faster seems to suit Jake better, well it ends on Friday and then just wait for the bowl game, if they do end up in Nashville, I might have to go

I always know what our tempo is because if I DVR a game I can hit my FFW 30 sec button and it pretty much puts me right at the next snap from the end of the previous play. Up until 2 years ago, this was always the case then we started a faster tempo.

The game against wiscy I was back to the FFW button in the first half. I agree, the faster our tempo, the better we play. So why can a couple armchair QBs figure that out, but a $5 million coaching staff cannot?

armchair? heck I am a couch potato QB anymore, I get up to pee and eat, hahaha, but yeah, I think the deal is we don't overthink it and we don't have that pressure on us, plus we get to see the game from the tv vantage point overhead, he is standing on the sideline, but um, yeah, as a certain guy said once, scratch where it itches
