Over his last ten games, Russell Westbrook is averaging 30.3 points, 10.1 assists, and 9.2 rebounds per game, but perhaps the more impressive stats during this timeframe are his 55.1 percent FG percentage and limiting his turnovers to 3.4 game, as well as a plus-minus of a whopping +12.6...

He's playing some of the best ball of his career during this stretch and is starting to play like an MVP again.

    Got to respect greatness.

The sad part is that he will never win a championship because he is stuck in Oklahoma and the Thunder simply is not willing to pay to build a championship team.

I agree, very solid player. Leading the Thunder back to a possible top 4 playoff berth in the West playoffs.

OKC has 3rd highest payroll in NBA ... only $3M less than Cavs/Ws. ($17M higher than Rockets ... $25M higher than Celtics, for example)

Yes but they declined to sign the players that could have helped them win title or to. They had the players but let them go and squandered their money on what they noe have. IF they had kept Obama, Hardin, Durant, Chandler.... Just think about it

Doesn't matter now. I'm talking about when they had the players that would have won it a few years ago. They don much now and still spent the money they refused to spend on Obama and Hardin

Actually the most impressive thing about that stretch is the Thunder are 7-3 in their last 10 games. His production is a correlation to their winning at this time.

I know Obama likes basketball and even had a court put in in the White House.

From what I understand, he's a decent player too. But shit, I had no idea he played for the Thunder. Got a whole new respect for him now.

Spellcheck changed the name from Ibaka to Obama without my authorization. I changed it twice each time it did that and it zapped it back and posted before I saw it. I HATE SPELLCHECK

You don't remember when they had Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Obama all playing together? I do. Obama was Steph Curry before Steph Curry.

    No.

Russ don't have a third of the prissiness P.C. has (or even a fifth of it for that matter)...

Russ at least has the balls to commit to one team for the duration of his career regardless of who comes and goes (Harden, K.D., George, etc...).

Knowing this does it irk you that OKC was unwilling to spend the money to keep Harden? Because clearly spending really isn't an issue right now for the Thunder.
