The Choo contract is way more of an albatross than Odor's.

To me Odor's contract isn't a factor in who I want to play and not to play. His contract only matters when and if we try to trade him.

Odor certainly isn't playing well enough to be worth what they are paying him, but it isn't so much that it is going to hamstring us in any way.

I think so. This will be the norm. He can still play but hard to do much if you keep going to the DL.

I have to think his injury history makes his trade value very small. I know the idea is to "trade him to a contender" but I honestly don't see how that works.

I think he will in about 10 weeks or so. I also think he will come back after this season and play at least one more year.

I really don't think this hamstring is anything to be surprised about. He is going to have a DL stay or two every year. This is really just one injury that the medical staff let get worse by allowing him to return too early.
