PV, we get it. You are cornered and are just flailing right now. I think it best that you just walk away right now. Digging a deeper hole does nobody any good.
What are you talking about? I got you dumbasses right where I want you.

Weird to think about . . .

Bart Colon and Dennis Eckersley's careers overlapped.
Weirder to think about, Ross Barnes played with Joe Gerhardt on the 1879 Reds, who played with Jack Ryan on the 1891 Colonels, who played with Howie Shanks on the 1912 Senators, who played with Red Ruffing on the 1924 Red Sox, who played with Yogi Berra on the 1946 Yankees, who played with Tug McGraw on the 1965 Mets, who played with Julio Franco on the 1982 Phillies, who played with Blaine Boyer on the 2005 Braves, who played with Tzu-Wei Lin on the 2017 Red Sox.

Ross Barnes to Tzu-Wei Lin.

Exactly. Ha

Harping over a typo to distract from your dumbassery.
What a coincidence that you happen to make the same typo twice:

"When a runner is on second base with one out, it's better to strikeout than a ground out between first and second." ~ Stan the brain surgeon Marsh 51.

So, would you rather have an average defensive player who is an elite hitter, or an elite defensive player who is average offensively?

Wasn't a typo in that instance. You obviously think it is better to strike out. Uh huh.

Are you capable of making an argument where you don't just make shit up? I provided facts regarding all the scenarios in which you could have a productive out, Jeter's strikeout rate in those scenarios compared to the rest of the league, and you just ignored it.

4. Sosa 6.2%
5. ARod 5.7%
6. Galarraga 4.5%

9. Cameron 3.5%
10. Schmidt 5.4%
11. McGriff 4.8%

Hi Dirt,
Fuck the Fraudkees.
Love,
Blade

Hi Blade!

Thank the 6 inches between the wall and Clint Fraziers shot, for that not being a sweep

But Fuck me if 2 of the best 3 hitters in that Seattle lineup arent former Yankees

Robbie strikes Gods fear in me

Robbie is only hitting .155 in July. If it wasn't for the ball being juiced, he wouldn't be having a very good year. He is only two homeruns ahead of Scooter Fucking Gennett and only three ahead of Brett Longball Gardner.

He's 10th all time in plate appearances, it isn't shocking that he also compiled strikeouts. You act like that means he was a high strikeout guy. He had one season in the top 20

The league K% for his career was 17.6% and Jeter's K% was 14.6%. That's not a high strikeout guy.

His K% was below league average every single season of his career except for 1 (1998)
That means nothing. The job of a leadoff or #2 hitter is to get on base. Comparing him in a group that includes the other 7 spots in the line up is dumbassery.
