But both, do not think. And Castro is probably a better hitter...all around.


Baez is only valuable, if he plays with intelligence.
Baez doesn't know how to work a count........Swings wildly....
He better learn......It's about TEAM......not him

You mean they are both free swingers? That is the only similarity. Javy is a better defender than Castro ever dreamed of being. Javy has more power than Castro will ever have. Javy is a much better base runner. Javy would have to crash hard to be the play that Castro is. Castro will have peaked at where Javy is starting at offensively, and never been close to Javy in defense or base running. If Javy gets just a little bit better in the strike zone he'll be a top player. As it is Javy "only" looks like a 3-4 WAR everyday player.
