Maybe you all have talked about this already.

The B1G is forming a football class system. The blue bloods play each other with more frequency. Makes for better TV matchups. Which is good for those in the upper class system.

Nebraska has Ohio State on the schedule for the next four years, There will always be at least one blue blood on the schedule, guaranteed, from the other division.

Blue bloods
Oho State
Michigan
Penn State
Michigan State

Blue bloods
Wisconsin
Iowa
Nebraska
don't think there are others, and it is a stretch to have Iowa on it.

That leaves the other seven teams on the not blue blood list.

Also, maybe, just maybe, the B1G is eyeing a blue blood for the west in expansion, but probably won't get them. I cannot see any blue blood football team coming to the B1G WEST at this time. B1G East, maybe. but not the west.

Some years, Nebraska could play three blue bloods from the east, such as 2018 with Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State on the schedule.

I am liking this format.

Unlike Iowa's 2015 schedule of with Maryland, Indiana, and Purdue.

i don't like it. i don't mind playing 1 or 2 big dogs from the East constantly, but you severly hamper having the best matchup for the B1G championship game when you get more than that. We should never have all 3 of Mich/OhSt/MichSt in the same year. you could lose all 3 of those and still be the best team in the West but miss the championship game because Wiscy or Iowa is only playing Mich-Rutgers-PennSt or Indiana-MD-PennSt.

seriously how is Iowa get so lucky with their scheduling? eh, i guess in 2017 they get OhSt-PennSt-MichSt, so i guess it comes around sooner or later.

oh and Purdue is in the West, so not a crossover for Iowa in 2015.

The Ohio State University is ripe for the picking this year. Shit, they lost 75% (rough guess) of the starters on
D & O. This has to be "the" victory for Riley this year. No excuse baby !!

Michigan State, Iowa and Wisconsin are blue bloods???

B1G blue bloods I guess, but we don't qualify for that so I guess I'm not following.

Ohio State next four years?

Thank God.

If I had it my way, we would play Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State every single year.

I have a strong disdain for the idea that an easier schedule makes a program better. Competition breeds excellence and the exposure would only help recruiting and the team would improve. Just my opinion.

Agreed.

But only with Bopper gone.

Did they actually call all these teams blue bloods? Iowa is far from a blue blood.

Please. The Big 12 is an absolute joke.

Oh yea they're a joke, but they don't try to sound cool like the Big 10 does.

Just watch BTN for one day and listen to the cheesy ass shit they say.

We think we're in the same league as the SEC.
