How did every other D1 school fail to offer him a scholarship? How did we not offer JJ Watt a scholarship right out of HS?

Simple, answer...some kids develop overtime and D1 coaches can't see the future.

Yea yea....I know. I was just suffering from, "Holy shit I've never even heard of this guy!" syndrome and felt like expressing my sentiments. It's the same with Roethlisberger or Favre. Southern Miss and Miami of Ohio respectively. Or even Romo, Eastern Illinois D2.
