Tocci does seem to be seeing the ball better and is taking good swings over the past few games. Maybe this is what Banister & Co is seeing as well, and they're wanting to play this out for a little while to see how he progresses. Thus giving them a better idea of what to do with him in winter ball and where to start him in 2018.

This is a frustrating game to watch against a mediocre pitcher like Lynn.

Really? Yeah, he's only 80-55 with a 3.50 ERA for his career. Granted, most the impressive stuff was pre-injury. Before he got hurt he was 56-39 with a ERA of 3.25. But I'm thinking he's completely healed now, and suspect he's going to start back up the ladder.

Bottom line: I wish we had two Lance Lynn's in our rotation right now.

PS......Our bats have been red-hot for weeks now and he's put us down rather easily.

I just know he was not that good with the Twins this year. I know he had pitched well in the past but I was looking at what he was doing currently. But point well taken.

If I'm the Yankees, I'm wondering why we only have 2 runs off a guy named Huchinson who's ERA was 18.00 coming into today's game. But he's got it down to 9 now. ha ha ha

Saw where Drew Hutchison went 13-5 with a 5.57 ERA in 2015. Some serious run support. I guess it is Yankee fans that should be frustrated when you look at his stats in his career.

Does every reliefer in the Yankees pen have an opponents BA of under .200? Yikes.

In 1955 I hit four there. The last one went thru my neighbor's window and I picked cotton to pay for it. Was DFA'd shortly there after.
^^^^^ Sounds like Rangers today
