First thing that jumps out to me on the men's side is that Stan drops 5 spots to #9. It is so hard to defend points as champion unless you're one of the big guns. Biggest movers in the top 100 were Kyrgios, Tomic, & Gimeno-Traver. Gimeno-Traver moved up 20 spots while Tomic & Kyrgios moved up 18 spots.

On the WTA side Venus is up 7 spots to 11, Keys up 15 spots to #20, Brengle up 18 spots to #46, Shvedova up 15 spots to #51, and a fw other big movers that I don't care to list.

Sloane dropped 9 spots to 41, Cibulkova down 8 spots to 18 ( same situation as Stan except that she only made the finals), and Azarenka down 5 spots to #49

Fed got 5,000 points after Wimbledon last year. The odds that anyone is able to pass him before the end of the US Open is pretty minimal. Fed could score 0 points until Cincy, and if everyone else had the same number of points, he would still be #2.

For now, Djokovic is locked in at #1. Fed is locked in at #2. Then, 3-9 are all within 1,300 points of each other. That's where the action is, and those guys all know it.

Not much movement significant movement taking place in the top 20 except Isner moving up 5 spots to #19.

Isner is unwatchable! He'll play "lights out" against #4 Kei and #6 Milos in a Masters, then lose to some nobody in Davis Cup in consecutive years! Too bizarre!

Doesn't the US have a couple of juniors on the mens side that are looking pretty good already. Kozlov and Donaldson are moving up the rankings fast. Kozlov may have a bit more potetntial but Donaldson is already in the top 200. They are 18 and 17. This kid Tiafoe looks like he could be something special too.

I've been high on Kozlov for a couple years. Would be nice if he got to 6'1 or 6'2.

Donaldson I'm not so sure about long term. Hoping for the best from both of these kids.

Nice to see Sock and Querrey make the final this week, btw. Sock's topspin is going to be tremendous this clay season.
