Atlantis is....Totally OBVIOUS, page 1
That's pretty darned interesting. I always assumed Plato meant Santorini...but the "beyond the Pillars of Hercules" thing kinda' screws that up.
Santorini is beautiful. I had the greatest 8 hour tour of that island ever. We were supposed to stay for two days but the Greek ferries were going on strike the next day and we preferred the extra time in Crete.
Have you been, Juice?
Nope. Never made it south of Montenegro. Have you read about how they finally made it through the ash layer to find homes? One of them has a mural on the wall of the island before she blew and the arrangement was in rings around what used to the interior volcano island...as Plato described.
That's a whole lotta ash and pumice:
Santorini (Thera) Volcano
I did not read that but will look into it for sure. We went to a couple of wineries on the island and they lay the vines along the ground in spiral shapes because the wind is so bad. I am going to try and find a pic.
You wanto to discover Atlantis?
