I noticed that ever since the B1G singed that big fat ass TV contract with ESP1N that ESP1N has been riding that conferences nuts ever since.

For years the B1G was the four-letter's whipping boy. Maybe it was deserved, but I quit watching when they analyzed a Saturday at the beginning of the year where it was nothing but Twinkies, Ho-Ho's and other assorted pastries.

The next week, the SEC had one conference game and the rest were cupcakes including 3 FCS teams. They didn't say a word.

Screw Disney and the unicorn they rode in on. (caveat, I love their beach house here on HHI where I am vacationing right now).

Gotta love being ranked 104 and still having 7 teams on your schedule ranked lower (counting the FCS opponent in that) plus another team that's only 1 higher. Could be a lot worse.

With that schedule they better be able to manage 6 wins. Hopefully at least 7 with a bowl victory. Then I can at least feel some sort of joy before I off myself when they drop down.

Very unlikely to happen. Only Bowl game where that's a possibility would be the Potato Bowl. Boise doesn't want anything to do with that game (for good reason) and the MWC won't make them play there. Would not surprise me to see Idaho forced there again should they get to 6, but part of the reason Idaho was there last year was the SBC having more bowl eligible teams than bowl tie-ins. The other part was basically just collusion.

Right not I am just paying attention to 2018. Currently the #12 ranked class and that might just do the trick for turning the ship around as far as just getting to a bowl. Would be nice to fill the vacuum Baylor left in the conference. But that's daydreamy.

We may not have much of a choice this year

normally we can snake our way into a bowl against a power 5 school, but we might not be good enough to manage that this year
