Given the 'queens paid top dollar for Rieff to improve their line, and the Lions got their number two back at a reasonable cost, I think Detroit is way ahead. Not that it was the result of a trade, just how things worked out. Asiata is a steady influence in the backfield, can contribute to the Lions offense, and should pay dividends when it comes to scheming against an in division rival. It's not like he's being touted as the second coming of Barry, just a potential contributor that needs to prove his place on the squad.

Yes. People get so distracted by giving Stafford passing weapons, but giving him a legit rushing weapon (he has never had anything approaching a RB) . Draft his ass a RB and sign one too.

They should be running Riddick and Zenner more, Abdullah less. Abdullah is dangerous as a change-of-pace guy, but he's not a lead back. He's also not a goal-line back - I never want to see him there again. Riddick is being way underutilized.
