Nope. Not any more. Definitely Lucroy. And Moreland too. Sorry Night Crawler. Gomez would come cheaper, I would think.

1. Back up the truck for Lucroy. He is such a difference maker. We've not had anyone anywhere near his caliber since Pudge.

2. Gomez wouldn't be a bad option. He clearly loves it in Texas and he likely wouldn't cost much Certainly less than Desmond.

3. I at least offer Moreland a qualifying offer unless we look to pull a trade or something.

I wanna sign Edwin Encarnacion in the off season. Cmon Bob and Ray

Re-sign Desmond, Beltran, Moreland & Gomez, pick up Holland's club option & sign Lucroy & Darvish to contract extensions.

Re-sign Desmond for what? He's going to get a pretty big deal and frankly what we've seen the last month or so is closer to the real Desmond than the one we saw in may and June.

Yanio Perez | Rank: 13
Hometown: Artemisa, Cuba
Position: 3B Age: 21 DOB: 8/10/1995
Bats: R Throws: R Height: 6'2'' Weight: 205 lb.
Scouting grades:
Hit: 50 | Power: 65 | Run: 55 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50

Perez has emerged as one of the most intriguing prospects on the market, and interest in the infielder has grown since he became eligible to sign May 20.

Scouts like Perez's tools and his power potential. Some scouts question his athleticism and how he handles third base now, but nobody questions his raw power and developing bat tool. Perez, who has been praised for his makeup and maturity, is also expected to be an above-average runner.

He puts on a show during batting practice and the team that signs him expects the power to show up in games.

Some evaluators wonder about his experience in Cuba but Perez does have a track record. He played with the Under-15 Cuban National Team in Mexico and the Cuban Junior National Team in the 18U Baseball World Cup in Taipei in 2013. He also played in the 23-and-under league for two seasons and played for Artemisa in the Cuban Serie Nacional for two seasons, starting in 2013 at the age of 18, and hit .259/.335/.328. Perez left Cuba last summer.

That gives us 2 of the top 17 International prospects. Number 3, 4, and 6 are still available.

Based on a couple moves Jad made he definitely wanted to go hard after the international FA market.

Moreland I agree with. Beltran only if the Rangers can't get a younger more versatile DH. Desmond would have to come back on a hometown discount because I guarantee some team is going to overpay him. Gomez is a maybe for me.
Lucroy and Darvish are no brainers but Darvish is going to ask for the moon.

Why in the world would you bring back Holland? I'd pick up the option and deal him at the winter meetings.

Encarnacion is a FA.

Encarnacion would rake in Arlington. I'm good with that as long as its reasonable. Should take some of the savings on Fielder and see what can be done.
