LINK DUMP:

If you have access to Baseball America (I don't), here's a draft recap. From what I've heard, it's a good read.

Bernie Pleskoff is a former ML scout. Great stuff here

The Arizona Fall League isn't just for the big time prospects playing, there's also instructional leagues going on, where pretty much all of the Giants prospects are at the moment, unless they are playing Winter Ball.

That being said, Aaron Bond is a guy to really look out for. 2017 draftee, he's an all-around athlete, but has some really intriguing power potential. Chris Kusiolek is an amateur scout, but I really trust his analysis.

Garrett Cave, another 2017 draftee

Marco Gonzalez, who pitched very well in the DSL this year. We didn't have much reports on his stuff other than "soft-balling lefty", so this is good intel

Injury update: The Giants’ health issues did not end with the season.

Pitcher Tyler Beede, who suffered a serious groin injury at Triple-A Sacramento, was slow to heal, which delayed his Arizona Fall League debut until Tuesday, when he allowed five runs in two innings for the Scottsdale Scorpions.

Outfielder Chris Shaw has been shut down for a week with a shoulder injury that cropped up during the season. He was 3-for-19 for Scottsdale.

Christian Arroyo aggravated the hand that was broken by a pitch in July and has not begun playing winter ball in the Dominican Republic.

Its been almost two weeks now since Shaw last appeared in a game. Any update on his shoulder injury?

This was from a few days ago:

Shaw is currently on the shelf with a shoulder injury at the Arizona Fall League, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Shaw has played in five games during the AFL thus far, going 3-for-19 at the plate with three walks. Although he's dealing with a minor shoulder ailment, this shouldn't have an effect on his status for the upcoming season, barring any significant setback.
