First off, nice to see you dboy. Secondly, get out some Boston baked beans to go with the lightly browned toast.

I think they are done. Physical play, lost some depth this past offseason, long playoff run after long playoff run, I think it's all catching up to them. Which is unfortunate because I think a physical team like this could give the Rangers fits.

i hope they miss the playoffs. they will be embarrassingly 1 and done if they get in. no ones clicking...too many injuries and too many guys not playing within claudes system. lots of changes need to be made. there was hope when they were on a run and were holding florida and ottowa off.

this reminds me of the early 2000's. tough times.

this all falls on cam and chirelli.

both guys set this team back by trading away guys they basically, didnt like. seguin hurts...tho, most of us agreed at the time based on his play in the last cup run. if seguin was even half a kane, we win a 2nd cup.

chirelli hands out no trades and extensions like handshakes

Dougie Hamilton's out for the season too now. I'd say they're going to have a shot at McDavid.

Yep this is on those two, not the coach

Some real head scratching moves lately and their drafts haven't been very strong besides a few players here and there

best example

jordan fucking caron

whyyyyy they kept calling that useless sack of tits up from providence over and over and over is beyond me. hes awful. im so glad we found a sucker.

claudes a good coach, his system...wishy washy on it. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt...but its always the players, not the system, that seems to be questioned.
not replacing iginla...handing out the no trades, and baffling trades...boychuck????

Put me down in the burnt to a crisp column.

Too many injuries......................................................check

Too many crappy contracts to middlin players................check

Trading Boychuk and getting shiite back........................check

Getting a junkyard car in return for Seguin...................check

Chara (already not a speedster) playing on one leg........check.

Seidenberg sucking harder than Madonna.....................check

The disappearance of Carl Soderberg............................check

So much more than this.

At the end of the day I put the majority of the blame on the GM. He has handed out dumb contracts for a few years now and he is the man responsible for the cap situation that led to them having to give Johnny Rocket away for nothing and sadly he hasn't learned his lesson because he just gave Reilly freakin Smith an extension for stupid money as well. :L

Just for the record I will answer my own question. Burnt to a crisp. Just looking at the remaining schedule the Bruins have I don't see a whole of winning the way they are playing.
Ducks - L This could be ugly
Rangers - L So could this
@ Hurricanes - W Second night of back to back Bruins awful in back to back games
Panthers - W
@ Redwings - L
Mapleleafs - W I feel pretty good about this
@ Capitals - L Maybe another shutout here
@ Panthers - L Ditto to the Hurricanes game above
@ Lightning - L That's a wrap folks

I can see Claude and Chia Pet looking for work.

Based on the comments from Charlie Jacobs a month or so ago I can definitely see the coach and GM getting the boot. When they miss the playoffs I think ownership is going to do a Gen. Sherman march through the front office and only Neely (if he's lucky) will be spared.

Let's just say I won't be sorry not to see them in the playoffs if they don't make it

A lot of this sounds like it could have been written about the Pens. Their last 2 wins are against the Coyotes and cOilers. Of the 5 losses, they even got shut out by the Bruins.

unreal what ottowa is doing right now.

14-0-1 in their last 15, averaging like 5 goals a game.
