I thought they always brought in outside crews for bowl games. (No conference supplies officials for bowl games that involve their teams). But maybe I was just hoping that no PAC officials would ref SC's game.

No bowl game ref crew will be from either of the two conferences of the teams that are involved in the game. So the Rose Bowl will almost never have a PAC crew or a B1G crew. So really only a SEC, ACC, Big12 or AAC crew would work that game.
